Jaclyn and Ryan weren't so cuddly at their wedding or reception in "Married at First Sight" Season 2, episode 2. A&E

Anyone’s wedding day is stressful, but walking down the aisle without knowing who is at the altar is even more stressful. The three couples on “Married At First Sight” Season 2 were paired up last week, but viewers only saw Jaclyn Methuen and Ryan Ranellone make it to the altar. Jaclyn was not pleased when she didn’t feel love at first sight upon meeting her new husband. Episode 2 picked up with Jaclyn and Ryan’s wedding and showed the other couples’ reactions.

Jaclyn and Ryan R.

Jaclyn still had doubts about Ryan after she saw him, but she decided to say “I do” anyway. They hugged at the altar instead of sharing a kiss.

Jaclyn and Ryan had a moment before the reception to talk. She learned how to say his last name and discovered he was a real estate agent. They briefly discussed their living situation. Jaclyn said she couldn’t leave New Jersey because of her job, but Ryan lived in Long Island. He promised they would figure it out.

As they took photos, Jaclyn was very uncomfortable. While they were officially husband and wife, they still felt like strangers. Jaclyn didn’t understand why the experts put them together, but Ryan trusted the process and the "Married at First Sight" experts. He felt like she was the right person for him.

Once the bride got a second to step away at the reception, she talked to her girlfriends about her fears. She admitted she wasn’t attracted to Ryan, but the women said she couldn’t expect love at first sight -- this wasn’t a romantic comedy. Jaclyn decided she needed to be open-minded.

Sean and Davina

Sean Varricchio’s skeptical parents showed up to his wedding, but Davina Kullar’s family didn’t attend. They might not support her marriage, but she still had plenty of friends. Best friend Chris walked her down the aisle, and it went much more smoothly than Jaclyn and Ryan R.’s wedding.

They both admitted they were very attracted to each other. Sean kept thinking about his mother’s disapproval, but that didn’t stop him from saying “I do.” Davina was shaking as she said her vows and put a ring on Sean’s finger.

Though Davina said she wouldn’t be able to kiss him at the altar, she changed her mind at the last minute. The two had a pretty steamy lip lock in front of everyone. At the reception, Sean and Davina were immediately very comfortable. They shared quite a few kisses during their first dance.

Davina revealed to Sean her family wasn’t there. She said she thought they would accept the idea of her marriage once they saw she was happy. Davina’s friends welcomed Sean, and Sean’s family started to warm up to Davina. His mother said they were relieved now that they had met her, and they wished the newlyweds the best.

Jessica and Ryan D.

Jessica Castro’s mother said she thought Ryan De Nino was attractive, and Jessica seemed to agree once she got to the altar. Jessica and Ryan kissed as soon as they were married. Once the reception started, their friends and family kept clinking their glasses to make them kiss.

After the ceremony, they realized they both had been raised by stepfathers and had a lot in common. Even their families realized how similar they were. Ryan’s mother and Jessica’s mother immediately started bonding. While Ryan’s mother had her reservations about her son getting married before the ceremony, she welcomed Jessica to the family at the reception and said she was excited for the couple.

All of the newlyweds headed off to their hotel rooms, but viewers will have to wait until next week to see if they’re ready to consummate their marriages.
