  • Bookies are convinced that Meghan Markle could run for president in 13 years

Meghan Markle is predicted to become the president of the United States in 2033.

Shortly after she quit the royal family last month, bookmakers Coral revealed that a string of bets had been placed on Prince Harry’s wife. The “Suits” alum could eventually follow in the footsteps of Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

“We take such a wide variety of bets from punters who think they can predict the future but the one that stands out at the moment is Meghan Markle is to become president by 2033. Punters clearly fancy her chances of running for office and at 66-1 we certainly think stranger things have happened,” Coral spokesperson Harry Aitkenhead told Express.

This isn’t the first time that Markle has been predicted to run for the presidency in the near future. Last month, crisis management expert Mark Borkowsky said that it is not unlikely for Markle to venture into an entirely different field.

“I’d put a sneaky bet in the future, 15-20 years maybe, what would stop Meghan Markle running for President? That’s the ambition these people have. There’s no stopping what they can do. They don’t have to report back to the Crown or ask permission. They can get out and be a lot more disruptive,” he said.

But as of late, Markle has not yet expressed her desire to entire into politics. But she has shown support for politicians like Hillary Clinton and the Obamas.

Four years ago, the Duchess of Sussex campaigned for Clinton to become the next president of the United States. However, she lost to the POTUS.

During her interview on “The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore,” Markle gushed over Clinton and said that voting for her doesn’t just mean voting for a woman to lead the country.

In the past, Markle has also criticized Melania Trump’s husband by calling him divisive and misogynistic. Shortly after, reports swirled the Trump called Prince Harry’s wife nasty.
