Screenwriter Joe Eszterhas recently came forward with some brutal accusations against Mel Gibson. Eszterhas wrote a 9-page letter claiming to be in the presence of Gibson during some of his rage filled outbursts. Turns out the screenwriter wasn't lying.

Eszterhas claimed that the actor went into hate-filled rants that included broad topics ranging from John Lennon to Gibson's baby momma and ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

While many believed that Eszterhas was writing the letter as a scorned man, due to Gibson retracting from a project called Maccabees, it turns out that the screenwriter has proof of the rage rants he claimed the actor went on.

This past December Mel Gibson had house guests at his Costa Rica home. Eszterhas was one of the house guests, along with his wife and 15-year-old son, Nick. While going on a tirade where he reportedly threw a cell phone and knocked over a totem pole, Nick recorded Gibson on his iPod. The F bomb is dropped multiple times during the two and a half minute audio recording. One of the most memorable quotes being, Who the f*** wants to eat? The audio recording was obtained by The Wrap.

Eszterhas told The Wrap that he released the audio because Gibson called me a liar. And I also have some reason to believe he's creating a PR blitz questioning my truthfulness.

In Eszterhas' 9-page letter he claimed that Gibson wants his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva dead. I'm going to kill her! I'm going to have her killed, Eszterhas claims Gibson said during one of his outbursts. No one will ever know.

The leaked audio from December has Gibson shouting, I am earning money for a filthy little c***sucker who takes advantage of me.

Gibson took to TMZ to deny Eszterhas' claims made in his letter, stating I will say that a great majority of the facts as well as statements and actions attributed to me in your letter are utter fabrications.

Last week the International Business Times spoke exclusively to Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva's former bodyguard, Kris Herzog, who echoed Eszterhas' claims of Gibson's death threats against Oksana. Mel says it to everybody, said Herzog. He hates her, he really hates her.
