Taylor Swift has become known for dating a lot of famous young men lately, and it appears the “Back to the Future” film-series star Michael J. Fox doesn’t want his son to become the latest victim of Swift’s serial-dating ways.

Now, this whole business isn’t all coming out of nowhere. At the Golden Globes Awards show last week, co-host Tina Fey had a pretty excellent quip, telling Swift to “stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son.” So, of course, reporters asked Fox about this as soon as they possibly could.

"No. No ... Just back off," Fox told Vulture on Thursday night when asked whether he would be OK with Swift dating his son Sam Fox. "I don’t keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? ... What a way to build a career."

Of course, Fox would not recognize Swift if she did begin dating his son.

"I wouldn’t even know who she was," Fox said. But it might dawn on him after Swift wrote the inevitable breakup song about Sam.

"'Sam, You Piece of S---.' Oh ... that was the girl you brought home!" Fox exclaimed while contemplating the hypothetical scenario.

So, in case anyone was wondering, it’s highly unlikely that Sam Fox will be the next young male celebrity to serve as the subject of an extremely sad and/or catchy song aimed at teenage girls.

Naturally, T-Swizzle herself responded to the online drama via Twitter, saying there was no bad blood between her and Fox.

“Hey everybody,” Swift tweeted. “Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today, and we are good. Thank you for having my back.”
