Microsoft is rumored to be working on upgraded editions of Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book that were launched in the last quarter of 2015. There are plenty of speculations regarding the Surface Book 2 release date as Microsoft seems to be delayed due to technical problems.

Rumors have it that the Surface Book 2 will be powered by this new processor, University Herald reported. However, the chipset has not been officially announced by Intel.
The Surface Book 2 is also speculated to launch with a costlier price tag compared to the predecessor model. It is also speculated to arrive with a larger display of 13.5 inches. The Surface Book 2 is also speculated to be available in an Intel Core i7 variant.
Rumors have it that the Windows 10 Redstone 2 is slated to be available by early 2017. The Surface Book 2 is heavily to come preinstalled with the new OS. It also pegged to feature an improved version of Surface Pen.
