The Windows 10 Creators Update has been creating a buzz even before its launch — Windows Central reported Monday that the company was planning to distribute the release candidates of the final version of the update ‘in the next week’. The Creators Update is expected to come with many new features including a new game mode, 3D Paint, Microsoft HoloLens support and picture-in-picture support. Additionally, Microsoft Edge is expected to get an open tab preview feature in the update. The company is also adding new security features to the Windows OS with the Creators Update including an improved Windows Defender ATP, which is expected to minimize and track cyber attacks and help security teams prevent them.

The company has also promised that it will be more transparent about its updates going forward. Also, the Creators Update, unlike the previous Windows update, will not make your PC reboot many times during the update process. Another feature of the update is Windows Goodbye, which will automatically lock the PC to protect user data, if the user is away from the machine for long.

A second Windows 10 Creators update, codenamed Redstone 3 will be launched later in the year.
