Amid rumors about Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s troubled relationship, the “Wrecking Ball” singer is worried that her fiancé will “dump her at the altar,” InTouch Weekly reported, citing a source. The news comes amid reports that Cyrus was working on toning down her image for the sake of her romance with “The Hunger Games” actor.

A friend close to Cyrus told InTouch Weekly about the 23-year-old’s concern that Hemsworth may “wait until the last minute” to dump her. The friend mentioned that Hemsworth might take the decision of splitting with Cyrus “because of the massive influence his family has over him.”

“Him dumping her would put her into a very dark place mentally, emotionally and physically,” Cyrus’ friend reportedly said. “She will fall apart — and it will be ugly. She won’t be able to handle it.”

The friend also added that Cyrus has made it clear to Hemsworth that “if this relationship is going to work, they are both going to have to ignore what their friends and family say.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth, who called off their engagement in 2013, reportedly rekindled their romance last December. Following rumors of reconciliation, Cyrus was spotted wearing the same ring that Hemsworth gave her when they first got engaged.

Amid troubles over Cyrus’ addiction, the couple’s relationship reportedly got strained after she sent Hemsworth a sext meant for her former rumored girlfriend Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell.

A source recently told Hollywood Life that Cyrus believes Hemsworth is her “soulmate” and she is all set to marry him.

Since Cyrus and Hemsworth got back together, the couple has been surrounded with several rumors about their wedding. Some reports also claimed that Cyrus was pregnant with Hemsworth’s child and was using the news to trap her fiancé.
