Miley Cyrus has released a cover of Bob Dylan's You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go, featuring Johnzo West. The song is part of a new tribute album, Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International, which will be available in stores and online Tuesday.

Cyrus is not the only singer to put a contemporary spin on Dylan's classics. Adele, Dave Matthews Band, Jack's Mannequin, Ke$ha, Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, Natasha Bedingfield, and others join Cyrus in singing covers as a tribute to Dylan's work.

The Chimes of Freedom record offers over 70 newly recorded Bob Dylan songs and can be purchased either as a four-CD collection for $24.99 or as a full digital download for $19.99. Individual songs will also be sold on iTunes. All proceeds from sales of the record will be donated to Amnesty International.

The tribute album marks an attempt by the music recording industry to fight a continuous battle against online piracy. The contributing singers offered their services for free and Dylan donated his publishing royalties in an effort to create a tribute album that can be sold quite cheaply to raise money and awareness.
