Miley Cyrus' drug use in "Blonde SuperFreak Steals the Magic Brain" has led some to call it an "overdose." Daily Star

Miley Cyrus was rumored to have suffered a drug overdose when she was hospitalized in April. The singer said she was forced to take a break from her Bangerz tour and seek professional care after she had a bad reaction to antibiotics that were reportedly given to her to treat a sinus infection.

Months later, a short NSFW film with The Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne (with who she got a matching tattoo) and Moby has been released. It shows the “Wrecking Ball” singer passed out on a bed with an open bottle of pills spilled out in front of her mouth.

The mini-flick, called “Blonde SuperFreak Steals the Magic Brain," has led some, like Take40.com, to interpret it as a drug overdose.

The Daily Star took it a step further with the headline: “Miley Cyrus in Overdose Shocker.” The BBC UK tweeted the headline will appear on the front of the Daily Star Wednesday.

Rolling Stone shared the psychedelic 5-minute short, which is a mix of full-frontal nudity, drug use and just plain strange. For those who want to view the video, click here, and decide if she has an "overdose" in the film.

Ironically, Cyrus apparently filmed the NSFW short while she was on her sick bed during her April hospitalization.

"This is the video we originally intended to be for a song that has a reference to the drug LSD," Coyne told Rolling Stone. "We were lucky enough to get a couple of hours with a bedridden Miley Cyrus. And even though she was still quite ill, she was full of laughs and great absurd suggestions."
