Miley Cyrus is set to be featured in a musical special with her famous hits on “Miley Cyrus: MTV Unplugged” on Jan. 29, and the show will reportedly “showcase a more intimate side of Cyrus,” according to the network.

According to reports, Amy Doyle, executive vice-president of music and talent programming strategy for MTV, said: “The ‘Unplugged’ stage has been home to some of the most iconic live performances of all time,” adding: “Miley’s vision for the performance is like nothing we’ve ever seen. I can say that this will be one of the most memorable ‘Unplugged’ performances to date.”

Cyrus posted a picture of herself on Monday, nearly topless and wearing only what seemed to be a feathered white skirt and showing off false teeth and a blonde wig with a hat. She also wore a yellow necktie and black glittery gloves to complete the ensemble.

She captioned the promo picture saying: “@MTV PRESENTS MILEY CYRUS: MTV UNPLUGGED YALL, check it out January 29th!”

Alex Coletti will direct the musical special, which will reportedly also feature surprise guests performing Cyrus’ songs.

Along with MTV Unplugged, Cyrus will also start her 38-city “Bangerz” tour on Feb. 14 in Vancouver, BC. The album, which is her latest, reportedly debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 and Digital Album charts in the U.S.

“MTV Unplugged,” since its debut in 1989 has featured performances from artists like Nirvana, Jay Z, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne, Adele and many others.
