Mimi Faust quit Love Hip Hop Atlanta
Mimi Faust sparked rumors she’s quitting “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” won’t return for Season 6. VH1

Mimi Faust may be saying goodbye to VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” The reality star and mother of one sparked rumors she was leaving the series after she posted a Twitter photo with the caption “Goodbye Season 6.”

In the image, Mimi is seen sitting at a table holding a glass of champagne with her talent manager. She wrote, “Not about nonsense, I’m about family, success, bigger and better things…. Goodbye Season 6 #MimiFaust.”

The reality star hasn’t clarified her cryptic Twitter message, but could it all be a misunderstanding? Mimi took to Instagram to post the same photo, but this time wrote in the caption: “Rappin up this season and getting to the next #Reunion.”

Mimi’s posts came just hours after part one of the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 5 reunion aired. During the special, Mimi made it clear that she wasn’t friends with Joseline Hernandez and told producers that she would leave if they tried to make her film with Joseline. As the reunion was airing, Mimi took to Twitter to explain her reasoning for not wanting to be in the same room as her enemy-turned friend-turned enemy again. “She’s a sick twisted individual … Bottom line #MimiFaust,” she tweeted. “No issues, just don’t have time for any of these girlies anymore.” In another tweet, she wrote: “Same room for what? I’m sorry, I’m just not getting in the room with people that are not on my level anymore… #SorryNotSorry #MimiFaust.”

If Mimi is in fact leaving, she’s not the only Season 5 cast member who decided to quit. D. Smith, who decided to be a part of the reunion, announced last month that she was not returning for another season. “I barely made it through this season,” she said during an interview with Don’t Be Scared podcast. “They barely got me on there because I quit the show in the middle of the season. … I don’t foresee me being on another season.”

Part two of the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 5 reunion airs next Monday at 8 p.m. EDT on VH1.
