Miranda Lambert has welcomed a new member to her family just two months after her split from Blake Shelton. The “Over You” singer adopted a stray kitten and expressed her joy on her Instagram account Friday.

"'Play me a song Curtis Loew Curtis Loew' ....When your friend @harps226 comes to visit and says 'oh by the way I picked up a stray kitten on the highway in Arkansas and it's in the garage'. And then she smile's this innocent smile. Guess who has a kitten now?" Lambert captioned the picture of her with the kitten.

Lambert is a longtime supporter of the animal charity Mutt Nation Foundation.

The 31-year-old’s latest Instagram post comes amid growing rumors of her ex-husband’s romantic involvement with Gwen Stefani. However, Lambert has not responded to any of the rumors, despite reports claiming that Shelton’s constant flirting with his “The Voice” co-star was just an attempt to make his ex-wife jealous.

While some reports have debunked Shelton and Stefani’s dating rumors, Naughty Gossip reported that the two have been taking their relationship to the next level as the “Sangria” singer is spending time with the latter’s children.

“They are very, very close,” the insider reportedly said. “They have met each other's families and spending so much time together that we should expect an announcement very soon.”

Shelton, 39, and Stefani, 45, have heated up romance rumors on the sets of "The Voice" with their "hardcore flirting," with Stefani telling the country star, during the NBC show’s last episode, "When you’re sweet, you’re sweet," to which the “Lonely Tonight” singer replied: "That’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me.”
