Muppets fans are in luck. Miss Piggy is the star of a Kate Spade New York holiday ad campaign.
Just in time for the holiday season, Miss Piggy and Kate Spade New York have teamed up to launch a collection for the holiday season, set to hit stores Dec. 1, WWD reported Tuesday. Pictured along enduring fashion figures like model Jourdan Dunn and designer and stylist Catherine Baba, the comedic Muppet character is not only fronting the new campaign, she has also inspired a new holiday collection for the fashion brands.
The Disney Miss Piggy Collection by Kate Spade New York will feature a collection comprised primarily of accessories and a sweater. Ranging in price from $48 to $378, the collection will surely encapsulate the sassy, playful nature of the Muppet’s character, as well as the Kate Spade New York brand. Consumers can expect a range of handbags styles, a necklace, key chain, earrings and a series of iPhone cases, most of which will bear the phrase, “Who, Moi?” The Disney Miss Piggy Collection by Kate will be available to buy in select stores, on katespade.com and Nordstrom at the beginning of December, just in time for the holiday season.
Kate Spade New York, a brand known for its feminine, irreverent pieces and cheeky accessories, has seen an almost cult-like success with its on-brand collaborations. In the past, the company has partnered with brands like Magnolia Bakery and Disney to launch limited edition collections. Ahead of the new Miss Piggy and Kate Spade product debut, here are three Kate Spade New York collaboration collections to shop now before the holidays.
-Kate Spade New York For Minnie Mouse: At the beginning of the year, KSNY partnered with Disney to launch the Minnie Mouse collection, which featured a line of adorable bags, tech accessories and a sweatshirt, all emblazoned with the classic Mouse ears and red bow.
-Kate Spade New York x Beyond Yoga: In January, Kate Spade went in a fresh athleisure direction when it launched its limited edition collection with Beyond Yoga that featured 21 pieces of yoga-ready pieces, from a classic striped jacket to red sports bra.
-Kate Spade x Magnolia Bakery: It might seem unusual for a major fashion brand to join forces with a cake shop and bakery, but Magnolia Bakery is not just any sweets shop and franchise. Founded in 1966, the bakery shop is a Manhattan institution and has been widely featured in films and television shows like “Sex and The City.” The bake shop and retailer partnered to launch a collection of totes and clutch purses, all designed in a famous cake-shaped motif in October of 2015, Forbes reported.
