Miss Teen USA 2011 Winner is Miss Teen Texas Danielle Doty (HOTTEST PHOTOS)

Danielle Doty, an eighteen year old beauty from Harlingen, Texas, became the second Texan to win Miss Teen USA beauty contestby winning the 2011 edition held at the Atlantis Paradise Island and Resort in the Bahamas on Sunday.

Doty became the first person from Texas to win the prestigious beauty pageant since 1996.

The pageant was divided into 3 categories - swimsuit, evening gown and interview - and Doty wowed the judges panel, which comprised of Katherine Schwarzenegger (the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver), Fred Nelson (People's Choice Awards president), Dr. Cheryl Karcher (celebrity dermatologist), Vinnie Potestivo (former head of MTV's East Coast Talent and Series Development) and BJ Coleman (entertainment guru), in all three categories.

However, the race to the top wasn't easy. Doty had to beat Audri Mari (First Runner-Up, Miss North Dakota Teen USA), Alexis Swanstrom (Second Runner-Up, Miss California Teen USA), Taylor Clark (Third Runner-Up, Miss Kansas Teen USA) and Sydnee Stottlemyre (Fourth Runner-Up, Miss Missouri Teen USA) to win the crown.
