“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Khloé Kardashian had one of her friends steal from her, and now her fans are determined to find out who it was after Thursday’s cryptic tweets went live. After some accused bestie Malika Haqq, and Kardashian swiftly shut them down, many pointed the finger at former stylist Monica Rose.

Kardashian, 32, hasn’t filed a lawsuit or police report, TMZ reported Monday, but she’s in talks with lawyers. The friend, who has not yet been named, stole “tens of thousands of dollars in designer clothes” by putting it on the E! reality star’s credit card, the site wrote. Naturally, the clothes didn’t wind up in Kardashian’s closet.

Kardashian reportedly thinks high end designers sent her items, but that they were never given to her. A “small fortune” was reportedly stolen from her, TMZ wrote.

While Kardashian would like to press charges against the former friend, others don’t want her to sue because it could ruin the anonymous person’s career. TMZ said they reached out to the “friend” for comment, but didn’t hear back.

Speculation as to who could be the friend started Thursday when Kardashian posted her mysterious tweets. “What would you do if you found out a friend was stealing from you? Would you cut off the friendship and let God handle it? Or would you go the legal route?” she asked. “Wayyyyy TOO many shady people in the world! The grass is cut LOW I see a few snakes.”

Quickly, she cleared up rumors that Haqq, her best friend, was the thief. “No guys! Malika is my sister! Never ever ever! We ride for life @ForeverMalika,” Kardashian tweeted.

Kardashian and her sisters cut ties with Rose in April after working together for nearly a decade. Kadashian never addressed why she fired Rose, but big sister Kim Kardahsian West told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” last month that she didn’t want to work with the stylist anymore because husband Kanye West gave her a makeover.

Still, Cohen wanted to know why Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian ditched Rose. “I haven’t worked with her in maybe four years, so my reason is not connected to this,” Kardashian West told Cohen. “You’d have to ask Khloe and Kendall and Kylie and the girls.”

Rose, for her part, doesn’t have any hard feelings toward the Kardashian and Jenner sisters.

“I’ve actually been very fortunate to be able to work with such amazing girls, I’ve surprised myself and how hard I’ve worked to be able to be where I am,” Rose told People Magazine last month. “It wouldn’t even be fair for me to say, ‘Oh I want to work with this person, or that person,’ because I’m so fortunate to be able to be where I am and work with the amazing women that I have. I’m super blessed, I guess I can say.”

While there was plenty of negativity going around with someone allegedly stealing “tens of thousands of dollars” from her, Kardashian wanted to focus on the positive. “Don't let those who are unhappy in their own world bring you down. You are responsible for your own happiness!” she wrote on Twitter Monday. “Hopefully your happiness and success will be contagious! If not, at least you're still happy and successful. Next level please!”
