Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, nestled in the northwest corner of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, has been named the Most Beautiful Place in America, according to ABC's Good Morning America.

ABC claims that tens of thousands of viewers voted online for the park, which is oft touted as one of America's best hidden gems.

The park boasts 64 miles of beaches along Lake Michigan, two islands, 27 inland lakes, over 50,000 acres of land, and the monumental sand dunes that are the park's namesake.

Good Morning America set out in search of the most beautiful places in America back in June, with viewers nominating their favorite spots across the nation.

Recently, the field was narrowed down to ten:

Sleeping Bear Dunes, Mich., Newport, R.I., Point Reyes, Calif., Grand Teton National Park, Wyo., Cape Cod, Mass., Aspen, Colo., Sedona, Ariz., Asheville, N.C., Destin, Fla., and Lanikai Beach, Hawaii.

When all the votes were in, the Michigan park came out on top.
