While some people who have read George R.R. What was supposed to be a wedding feast, with the nuptials of Edmure Tully and Roslyn Frey under the roof of Lord Walder Frey, ended in betrayal and death. Lord Frey, still stinging from the broken wedding promise made by Robb Stark, joined up with the Lannisters for revenge. Catelyn Stark and most of the Stark bannermen were also killed.
