The distraught mother of three siblings who are running from the law has publicly begged them to turn themselves in to police.

"Your lives are not over," Barbara Bell said on WFTS-TV in Tampa. "Only mom knows what good people you are inside. Please prove me right and everybody wrong by doing the right thing now and turning yourselves in."

Ryan Edward Dougherty, 21, Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, and Lee Grace E. Dougherty, 29, are wanted for shooting a police officer in Florida and robbing a bank in Georgia.

The siblings were spotted buying a tent in Colorado Springs on Tuesday. A customer in the parking lot of a camping store called authorities about a possible sighting, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported.

Colorado Springs police then issued alerts to officers to be on the lookout for a white Subaru Impreza with the Texas license plate LCS909, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported.

Tuesday evening, the FBI's Denver office said the report was "credible." They believe the siblings may be hiding in rural areas.

All three of the siblings have criminal records and are reportedly in possession of weapons. They have been on the run since August 2.

"Given the nature of their alleged crimes in Florida and Georgia, the suspects should be considered armed and extremely dangerous," the FBI said.
