Mother's Day is Sunday, and if this is news to you, you probably need to get a gift — stat. Of course, you could quickly print out some family photos or cobble together a brunch menu, but where’s the fun in that? It’s not too late to pull off something great.

Check out these 10 ideas, mostly collected from Good Housekeeping, BuzzFeed, “Today” and BGR:

A coloring book. Adult coloring books are all the rage, and they’re also a ridiculously simple gift for your mom. Stop by Michaels to select a $10 book and then grab some special markers to help your mother embrace her artistic side.

A pair of sunglasses and case. You already think your mom is cool — now make her look like it. Scoop up a cheap pair of shades at Target and pair with a nice leather case like this $48 one from Henri Bendel.

A purse light. Moms have everything in their purses — except, you know, a light that would help them find the tiny thing they always seem to be digging around for. This $14 motion-activated handbag light from Wasserstein, for example, could change her life.

A succulent. These small plants are easy to care for but fancy-looking. Plus, they’re probably available at your local Home Depot. Pick one — or many — grab a Sharpie and decorate the pot with a loving message. It’ll last longer than a bouquet of flowers.

A salt lamp. Himalayan salt lamps are said to help with allergies, clean the air and make you sleep better. Even if you don’t believe this, the pale pink lamps look pretty. Pick one up for Mom at Bed Bath & Beyond for $20.

A T-shirt tote bag. Grab two old shirts in complementary colors and use these instructions from Creative Green Living to create a custom bag for your mom. You don't even have to sew it if you use fusible web, which you can pick up for $3 at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores.

A sugar scrub. Your mom can have a spa day without leaving the house with this DIY sugar scrub from thankyourbody.com. Mix together 1/2 cup each of brown and white sugar with 1/3 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Scoop it into a jar and pair with instructions for Mom to pamper herself.

A cold brew coffee maker. Hot coffee is so 2015. Get your mom on trend with a cold brew system to rival Starbucks. This pitcher is $30 at Crate&Barrel, and you’ll get extra points if you give it to mom with a bag of her favorite beans.

A DIY manicure set. In a mason jar, place cotton balls, nail clippers, an emery board, a mini nail polish remover and a bottle of her favorite polish — like this on Pinterest. Top with a bow and present it proudly.

A subscription box. Sign your mom up for a program like this $40/month one from POPSUGAR, which last month included a cookbook, tea towel, hand lotion and chocolate-covered espresso beans, among other items. This gift just keeps on giving.
