Motorola’s second-generation Moto 360, also referred as the Moto 360 (2015), has recently been made available for preorder via the Moto Maker Website, along with the flagship Motorola Moto X Pure Edition. Now, the “Moto 360 (2015)” and the new “Huawei Watch” can be preordered from Google Store as well.
Speaking of Moto 360 (2015) price, the gear will reportedly cost $299.99 for the Black variant with 42 mm size. The Cognac variant with 46 mm size can be availed for $349.99. Buyers can avail the free shipping option while the ordered device will apparently reach the door steps in three or four weeks, Phone Arena reported.
The second-generation Moto 360 features a stainless-steel build and the display dial is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. This gear comes guaranteed with over 24-hours of battery life. Therefore, the smartwatch can easily get through the entire day without the need to plug back in. The Moto 360 runs on Google’s Android Wear operating system.
The Moto 360 (2015) owners can use the installed apps on the watch independently, without the need to pair it via a compatible smartphone, according to Phone Arena. This smart watch also helps in monitoring heart beat, serves as a step counter and keeps track of calories burnt.
The Android Wear-powered Huawei Watch, on the other hand, comes with the same stainless-steel build. However, the dial is protected by sapphire crystal to stay scratch-free. The watch can track exercise routines like walking, running and stair-climbing. The device reportedly comes with 40 watch faces out of the box, while users can also download 1,500 more watch face choices.
