The biggest night for artists expressing their creativity and vision through music videos—and for making major headlines—has finally arrived, with the MTV Video Music Awards set to air on live tonight.

The show, which officially kicks off at 8 p.m. EDT with host Katy Perry, is set to honor some of the biggest names in music during a live broadcast on MTV. Special awards will be given out throughout the night, including the Video Vanguard award, which will be given to P!nk.

The night will also feature some highly anticipated entertainment, with the debut of Taylor Swift's video for her newest single, "Look What You Made Me Do," from her upcoming album, "Reputation." Taking the stage at the Forum Theatre in Inglewood, California, will be P!nk and Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Fifth Harmony, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes, Miley Cyrus, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Lorde, Ed Sheeran, Logic, Khalid, Gucci Mane, Post Malone, Julia Michaels, Bleachers, Cardi B, DNCE, Rod Stewart, Alessia Cara and Kyle.
