Whitney Way Thore has shared on Instagram a new sneak peek at the this week’s “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” Season 5 episode. From the looks of things, the 33-year-old reality star gets too obsessed with her cats, causing her dear friend Ashley to believe that something’s wrong with Whitney.

At the start of the promo clip for the TLC reality series’ upcoming installment, Whitney says, “Whitney Thore. Drug of choice: Cats!” The preview then jumps to a scene where Ashley assists Whitney as the latter puts a diaper on one of her felines. After which, Whitney is seen smiling and laughing while cradling her pet cat.

While Whitney’s newfound obsession is completely harmless, Ashley admits in the teaser clip that something may be wrong with her friend. “She’s diapering her cats. That’s not right,” Ashley says while shaking her head towards the end of the sneak peek.

The teaser trailer for “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” Season 5, episode 4 may be a bit comical, but the new installment will actually be filled with a lot of drama starting with Whitney’s fertility problem. According to the synopsis for the episode, Whitney starts panicking about her own fertility while helping Ashley prepare for her baby.

Way ahead of the new season’s premiere, TLC revealed that Whitney extends her helping hand to Ashley when the latter prepares for childbirth. “The truth of the matter is: Ashley was never expecting to … be expecting,” Whitney said in the preview clip for Season 5. Unfortunately, even though Whitney is doing this out of love for her dear friend, she also finds herself wondering about her own fertility.

Meanwhile, the title of episode 4 — “Buddy’s Missing” — gives away the biggest problem that will ensue this week. Apparently, Whitney receives news from Buddy’s parents that he has been missing for days. This leads a distraught Whitney to team up with Buddy’s ex-girlfriend Heather to investigate about Buddy’s possible whereabouts. However, nothing will prepare them for what they are about to discover when they start their sleuthing in Buddy’s room.

“My Big Fat Fabulous Life” Season 5, episode 4 airs Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
