NASCAR's Denny Hamlin has signed an endorsement deal with Nike's Jordan brand.

As part of the deal, Jordan's famous Jumpman logo will appear on Hamlin's uniform and racing gloves. He will not wear Jordan brand shoes while racing, but will off the track. According to CNBC's Darren Rovell, Hamlin and Michael Jordan recently struck up a relationship that is the impetus to this deal.

Hamlin, who finished 2nd in NASCAR's Sprint Cup Standings, is also sponsored by Fed Ex, Coca-Cola, and Gillette. Hamlin joins Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, as well as His Airness himself, and many others as a Jordan brand spokesman. And given the continued popularity of the NASCAR, it might not be long before the other shoe brands start popping up at the tracks in Daytona or Talladega.
