“Nashville” is almost back! After an explosive season 1 finale, the ABC series is ready to jump right back on the saddle on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The synopsis for the premiere episode has leaked online, and it’s definitely something that fans won’t want to miss.

SpoilerTV posted the episode 1 description for “I Fall To Pieces,” and it appears like the drama will be picking up right where viewers left off. Rayna will be in a coma following the car accident, leaving Deacon waiting not only for her to wake up … but waiting on his pending jail sentence.

Rayna’s condition will not only affect Deacon, but her family as well. Teddy will be left confused, unsure if he needs to be with pregnant Peggy or his frightened daughters. But for his eldest, Maddie, her mother’s coma isn’t the only thing eating away at her. Still struggling to come to terms with the revelation that Deacon is her father, the teen will turn to Juliette, “unwittingly revealing the details of what happened before the traumatic crash.”

As for Gunnar and Scarlett? Their relationship is still as complicated as ever. After the proposal the two will “turn to their friends, Will and Zoey, for support.”

For those that need a refresher on the season 1 finale of “Nashville,” the ABC series ended its first year with a pregnancy, a proposal, an alcoholic falling off the wagon and a potentially deadly car accident.

Pregnancy News

Teddy ended the season in a bit of trouble after learning that the U.S. Attorney’s Office is investigating the Cumberland deal. But he also received a shocker when Peggy revealed that she turned down the immunity offer from investigators because she’s pregnant with his baby.

The Proposal

Scarlett received a shock of her own during the season 1 finale of “Nashville” when Gunnar proposed … after a big blow out and failed apology. Fans were left wondering if she’d accept, or possible move on with Avery …

Deacon’s Downfall

Maddie discovers some paternity tests and realizes that Teddy is not her father. Believing her biological dad to be Deacon, she confronts him at his house … leading him to pick up the bottle again. Confronting Rayna at the CMA’s about not telling him that he’s the father of her 13-year-old daughter, Rayna argues that he wasn’t ready at the time – and she proves to be right. The revelation drives Deacon straight to the bar where he knocks back a couple and decides to try and fight Teddy.

The Accident

Drunk and at Juliette’s memorial service for Jolene, Deacon finds himself face-to-face with Rayna again. Trying to leave, Rayna follows him outside and discovers that he’s drunk. Taking the keys out of his hand, Rayna gets behind the wheel of his car where they proceed to argue. Distracted by Deacon, Rayna doesn’t see a car and gets into a gruesome accident.
