Rock bottom is still nowhere to be seen for Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere). It seemed like she was finally coming to her senses in episode 5. She was sober and even reached out to Avery (Jonathan Jackson). However, once Avery talked to her and told her that he was filing for divorce, she looked devastated. The bad news will ruin any progress she's made. According to the synopsis for “Nashville” Season 4, episode 6, titled “Please Help Me, I’m Fallin,” Juliette will sink to new lows.

“Juliette gets into a brawl with a fan that goes viral,” the synopsis teases. The country star is usually very good at maintaining a happy façade for fans, but she won’t be able to hide her problems anymore. Unfortunately, she still isn’t surrounding herself with the people who care about getting her treatment for postpartum depression. “Jeff [Oliver Hudson] sees damage control as an opening for his own career,” the summary says.

Luckily, it looks like Avery will notice Juliette’s cry for help. In the trailer for episode 6, he acknowledges how awful she must be feeling for her to act like that with a fan, but he might not be able to help her in time. Juliette is shown on a rooftop while the trailer teases “a shocking fatal end.” Could Juliette commit suicide?

Meanwhile, Maddie (Lennon Stella) will face repercussions from performing with Juliette without permission. She’ll be grounded, which will prevent her from visiting her boyfriend Colt (Keean Johnson). Rayna (Connie Britton) will have to balance disciplining her daughter and keeping her new artist happy.

Markus (Riley Smith) fired Avery in episode 5 as soon as the producer tried to make a suggestion. When Rayna makes her own suggestions, she might also set off the musician’s temper. “Markus butts heads with Rayna over his sound, and the two consider whether they can continue working together,” the synopsis reveals. If Rayna loses another artist, it’ll be bad news for her label. With Scarlett (Clare Bowen) still grieving the loss of her mother, it doesn’t seem like the Exes are going to put out an album anytime soon. Layla (Aubrey Peeples) would be the only working artist left.

“Nashville” Season 4, episode 6 airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
