When the “Nashville” cast soundtracks end, there will still be more music for fans to buy. Lennon Stella is the latest cast member from the CMT drama to sign a record deal.

The 18-year-old signed with RECORDS, the same label that Noah Cyrus, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Crystal Caines call home. “The release will go through @ColumbiaRecords, coinciding with RECORDS’ new joint venture with @SonyMusicGlobal,” Stella said on Instagram.

Stella has played Maddie Conrad for six seasons on CMT’s “Nashville.” Her character has had quite a dramatic arc, starting out as a kid who suddenly questioned if the man who raised her was actually her biological father (spoiler alert: he was not). Now Maddie is living with her real dad (Charles Esten) and following in her deceased mother’s (Connie Britton) footsteps as a singer.

Stella’s songs with her sister currently make up three of the five most popular songs from the “Nashville” cast on Spotify, so it isn’t surprising that the teen scored a record deal.

“I feel so lucky to work hand in hand with this incredible and inspiring group of people,” the actress wrote. “There are no words to describe the feeling of finally being able to release my own music, something I have always dreamed of. I am truly thankful for all the love and support.”

Lennon’s real-life sister Maisy Stella plays Maddie’s sister Daphne. The two have been performing together on and off screen for years, but this is a solo venture for the older sister. Lennon assured fans that this new project doesn’t affect her relationship with her 14-year old sister.

“Forever grateful for everything I got to be a part of with @maisystella. She is my best friend, favorite person in the world and nothing is going to change that,” she wrote with a heart emoji on the Lennon & Maisy Twitter account. “Thank you for the support in everything we’ve done together.”

Maisy posted a throwback photo with a message about how she is very “so proud” of her sister.

The Canadian star has been hinting at a solo album for months on her Instagram stories, so fans might not be surprised by this news.

While Lennon Stella has not announced a release date for her album, fans won’t have to wait long to hear her sing new songs. It looks like she’ll be onstage plenty as Maddie in the final season of “Nashville.” Season 6 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on CMT.
