IHOP is giving away free pancakes on Tuesday, March 3 in honor of National Pancake Day 2015. IHOP

Get ready, pancake lovers! In honor of National Pancake Day 2015, IHOP will be giving away free stacks of their beloved buttermilk pancakes.

So how do you get a free plate of the breakfast chain’s famous dish? It’s fairly simple! All you have to do is visit one of the participating IHOP locations in the U.S. on Tuesday, March 3, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

While the pancakes are free at participating IHOP locations nationwide, it is important to note that customers are suggested to leave a donation -- which is tax-exemptible -- during their visit. As IHOP has done for the past 10 years, the donations secured on National Pancake Day will go towards helping the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities an as part of their “Decade of Giving” celebration.

Since 2006, IHOP has been participating in the National Pancake Day giveaway. This year, the restaurant chain is hoping to raise $3.5 million for charity.

There is a limit of one free short stack of pancakes available per guest during the promotion. Each stack contains three original buttermilk pancakes, according to IHOP’s Facebook announcement. The offer is valid for dine-in patrons only and is only available while supplies last. Other discounts and coupons cannot be used in combination with the free short stack offer.
