Tuesday is National Pretzel Day, and that means it’s a glorious day for carb lovers everywhere.

Pretzels are one of the most versatile snack foods, as they come in so many shapes, sizes, flavors and genres. From the salty to the sugary, pretzels have become classic sports-watching fare as well as as the perfect item to eat between hitting the stores at pretty much any shopping mall in America.

Every year on April 26, pretzel makers around the country celebrate National Pretzel Day by giving away free treats and sharing discounts with their customers. The idea of a special day for pretzels has even made it into beloved TV shows like “The Office,” where Stanley Hudson gets excited about Pretzel Day in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

In honor of this year’s National Pretzel Day, here are the best freebies and discounts on pretzels so that you, too, can be happy like Stanley on Pretzel Day.

Auntie Anne’s: This ubiquitous pretzel retailer will be offering customers who sign up for its My Pretzel Perks app their choice of one free original or cinnamon sugar pretzel, starting April 26 and running through May 1. Plus, five app users will be selected to receive free pretzels for a year. The winners of that prize will be announced on National Pretzel Day.

Philly Pretzel Factory: All customers will receive one free soft pretzel on National Pretzel Day, no purchase or coupon required.

Pretzelmaker: This chain is offering a free pretzel (salted or unsalted) to any customer who shares a message of kindness on social media using the hashtag #WarmThoughts. But don’t worry if you’re not on social media — you can still claim your free pretzel by giving a nice compliment instead when you show up at a Pretzelmaker location.

Wetzel’s Pretzels: Customers here can get a free original pretzel April 26 anytime during store hours. And if you’re a social media fan of Wetzel’s Pretzels, you can get a free upgrade to Pizza Bitz, pretzel bites topped with cheese and pepperoni.

Cumberland Farms: Customers can get a free Chill Zone beverage (fountain or frozen) if they buy a hot pretzel 12-6 p.m. EDT on National Pretzel Day.
