Odds for the 2022 NBA Christmas schedule have been released a few days before the games are set to be played. The Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks are favored in the early holiday games. The Los Angeles Lakers are the biggest underdogs on the entire Christmas schedule.

Here are predictions against the spread for every Christmas Day basketball game. Odds come from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Philadelphia 76ers (-2) at New York Knicks

The 76ers are better than almost every team that the Knicks beat during their recent eight-game winning streak. Will Mitchell Robinson and New York's revitalized defense be able to stop Joel Embiid? The answer is likely "no," given that Embiid is averaging close to 35.0 points on just 21.0 shots per game over the last month and a half.

Prediction ATS: Philadelphia

Los Angeles Lakers (+8) at Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks haven't looked like the team that made it to last season's Western Conference Finals, going .500 through their first 32 games. LeBron James is averaging 29.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game in December while shooting 51.2% from the field. Los Angeles can be competitive in Dallas.

Prediction ATS: Los Angeles

Milwaukee Bucks (+4) at Boston Celtics

Boston's offense has fallen apart in the last month. After starting the season as the most efficient offense in league history, the Celtics rank dead last in points per possession in December. The Bucks are third in defensive efficiency. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 36 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in a win over Boston last Christmas.

Prediction ATS: Milwaukee

Memphis Grizzlies (-4) at Golden State Warriors

The Warriors have a 105.1 offensive rating when Stephen Curry is off the court. Even the worst offense in the league scores at least 107 points per 100 possessions. Golden State is 1-3 since Curry suffered his shoulder injury, and the losses have come by an average of 26.7 points per game.

Prediction ATS: Memphis

Phoenix Suns (+2) at Denver Nuggets

Denver has catapulted to the top of the West standings by being a dominant home team. The Nuggets are 10-3 in Denver. The Suns are just 5-9 on the road. Nikola Jokic is making the case to win his third straight MVP award. Jokic is averaging 28.9 points, 13.4 rebounds, 9.7 assists, 2.0 steals and just 18.3 field-goal attempts per game in December.

Prediction ATS: Denver
