The first round of the NBA Playoffs came to a close on Sunday when the visiting Utah Jazz stunned the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 7. The result means there are just eight teams remaining in the quest for the Larry O'Brien Trophy though the two top teams remain firmly entrenched as the favorites.

According to betting website VegasInsider.com, the Golden State Warriors remain the clear favorites at 5/13 odds to win the title, while the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers have 33/10 odds. The Cavs have 2/5 odds to reach the Finals, while the Warriors have 2/9 odds to come out of the West.

After the Warriors and Cavs, there is plenty of space separating the other six teams. The San Antonio Spurs still have the third-best odds at 9/1, while the Boston Celtics — who have a 1-0 lead on the Washington Wizards in their Eastern Conference semifinals matchup— are at 18/1 odds.

The rest of the odds round out with the Houston Rockets (25/1), Toronto Raptors (40/1), Wizards (50/1) and the Jazz (100/1).

There has been a consensus that the Warriors and Cavs would meet again since June 2016. Despite the Cavs prevailing in seven games, and before Golden State signed superstar forward Kevin Durant, the Warriors still had 7/4 odds of winning in 2017, followed by the Cavs at 5/2 and the Spurs at 6/1.

Oddsmakers had mostly ranked the eight teams in this order for most of the regular season. In early March, the Clippers had sixth-best odds, while the Jazz were ninth.

There are two Game 1 matchups on Monday night. The Cavs host the Raptors at 8:00 p.m. ET, while two Texas teams meet in the later matchup when the Spurs host the Rockets at 9:30 p.m. ET.

The Jazz open their Western Conference semifinals series in Oakland to face the Warriors on Tuesday night.
