NBA and Players Reach Tentative Collective-Bargaining Agreement
The National Basketball Association (NBA) and its players have reached a tentative deal on a new collective-bargaining agreement, the league said on Saturday.
Details were not made available, but the NBA said on its Web site that a shortened 2011-12 season would likely begin on Christmas Day.
