The majority of the NBA is on Wednesday’s schedule, including the best teams in the league. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder will all tip off within just a few hours of each other.

Those five teams are probably the only legitimate contenders to win the 2018 NBA Finals. While they are all expected to earn high playoff seeds, they haven’t all gotten off to fast starts in the 2017-2018 season.

Oklahoma City looked good in the season opener, but the trio of Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony and Paul George haven’t won since. The Thunder are trying to get back to .500 after suffering losses to the Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Golden State had lost two of their first three games before improving their record to 2-2. They face a difficult challenge Wednesday when they host the Toronto Raptors.

San Antonio is one of five undefeated teams left in the NBA. With wins over the Raptors, Bulls and Timberwolves, they can improve to 4-0 with a victory over the Miami Heat.

The Washington Wizards are also undefeated with three straight wins to start the season. They’ll visit the Los Angeles Lakers in one of the final games Wednesday night, and all eyes will be on the point guard matchup between John Wall and Lonzo Ball.

LeBron James and the Cavaliers visit the Brooklyn Nets, who are expected to finish the year as one of the NBA’s worst teams. The Rockets visit the Philadelphia 76ers, who are expected to be one of the league’s most improved teams.
