The roster for "Spider-Man Unlimited" continues to grow. During the New York Comic-Con, Marvel and Gameloft announced a number of new characters would be coming to the hit mobile game in the upcoming October update. Some of these characters include the previously announced "All-New All-Different" versions of Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099, while others are new to the game.

Bam Smack Pow confirmed that the October update would continue the "Spider-Island" storyline that has been dominating "Spider-Man Unlimited" as of late. As the main dimension of the game merges with the "Spider-Island" one, more playable characters emerge to help fight the good fight.

Previous characters that have helped with the fight included Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson and the Black Cat, though it appears that they weren’t enough. Now, fans have even more fan favorites to look forward to, like Agent Venom, Madame Web and Spider JJJ (J. Jonah Jameson).

Like in previous updates, most of these characters can be attained through special limited events that are tied into the main storyline. Speaking of which, it was also confirmed that fans would be given the chance to bring villain Silver Sable to the side of the heroes, in a new multi-part event.

Other characters coming to the game include Spider Ma’am and Annie Parker. Spider-Ma’am is a version of Aunt May who was bitten by a radioactive spider and was briefly seen in a short story for the epic "Spider-Verse" storyline. Annie Parker is the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane from the "Renew Your Vows" storyline from the "Secret Wars" event.

Furthermore, the official "Spider-Man Unlimited" Facebook page has essentially confirmed the one character everyone was requesting: Peter Porker aka the "Spectacular" Spider-Ham. A long time comedy character who has risen to prominence as of late, he will be joining Spider-Gwen and Spider-Man U.K. as part of the new "Web Warriors" comic book.

"Spider-Man Unlimited" is currently available for download on both iOS and Android devices. It’s free for anyone to purchase and is one of the most addictive infinite runners out there, thanks to plenty of unlockable characters and fun storylines.
