Even after Beyonce gave birth to baby Blue Ivy Carter, some remain convinced that the singer was never pregnant. Rumors suggest that Blue Ivy Carter was born to a surrogate mother instead of Beyonce.

Fanning the flames of the rumors is a new report that claims that Beyonce was not even in the room when her baby was born.

An unnamed, unspecified hospital source reportedly told blogger Sandra Rose that Lenox Hill Hospital hatched a detailed security plan to escort the singer and a surrogate to the maternity wing of the hospital. According to this report, the surrogate also used an alias.

TMZ had previously reported that hospital executives held a meeting to coordinate the intense security efforts surrounding the birth. According to Sandrarose.com, security cameras were covered and no one was admitted to the maternity wing where the alleged surrogate gave birth to Beyonce's baby. Beyonce and the baby's father Jay-Z allegedly waited in another room. Sandra Rose's source claims the baby was delivered via a C-section, and the surrogate was only allowed to briefly hold Blue Ivy Carter before passing her to Beyonce.

Lenox Hill Hospital has denied sealing off a private floor for the singer, according to TMZ. The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true, a hospital rep told TMZ. The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility. We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own children over the past three days.

Many have speculated over Beyonce's baby bump over the past nine months. Critics have said it has changed shapes and sizes during the course of the pregnancy and even appearing to collapse during an interview on Australian Television.

The baby's name, Blue Ivy Carter is presumed to be a mix of Jay Z and Beyoncé's albums: Blueprint and 4 (IV).
