With approximately two-thirds of the 2014 NFL season completed, a few surprise teams have seemingly proven that they will either be in contention for the rest of the season, or that they are not Super Bowl contenders. Despite the way these teams have played heading into Week 12, the oddsmakers don’t seem to believe that their records indicate how good or bad they are.

Arizona has played better than anyone in the NFL, leading the league with a 9-1 record. Still, they are nearly a touchdown underdog in Seattle, even though the Seahawks are three games out of first place. The defending champs have one of the best home-field advantages in football, but the point spread indicates that they might be favored if they visited the Cardinals.

Detroit is coming off a close defeat in Arizona, and they could find themselves losing two straight, after being defeated just twice in their first nine games. The Lions are getting seven points in their visit to New England. The Patriots haven’t lost since they were beaten by the Chiefs in Week 4.

The Saints have been one of the biggest disappointments in 2014. They’ve lost six of their first 10 games, including two contests at home, where New Orleans had been dominant in recent seasons. Even after losing back-to-back games at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, they are four-point favorites on “Monday Night Football.” The visiting Ravens are 6-4 on the year.

After losing their second game in three tries, the Colts have been named the biggest favorites of Week 12. They are giving the Jaguars 13.5 points, having beaten Jacksonville by 27 points on Sept. 21.

The contest between the Browns and Texans features the smallest point spread of the week. It’s the only game with a betting line that is less than a field goal.

The Jets and Bills have the smallest over/under on the schedule at 40 total points. When they met in Week 8, Buffalo put up 43 points on the road.

Below are the complete betting lines for all the Week 12 games, including the point spreads and totals. These are the consensus odds from multiple sportsbooks in Las Vegas.
