Half of the games on the 2022 NFL Week 6 schedule feature a point spread of a field goal or less. The underdog in a few of those contests has a better chance to pull off the upset and win straight up than the betting odds indicate.

Here are the best upset picks in Week 6 and odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Kansas City Chiefs (+124) vs. Buffalo Bills

Patrick Mahomes has rarely been an underdog in his career, and Sunday he'll be a home underdog for the first time since becoming Kansas City's starting quarterback. Mahomes is 7-0-1 ATS when the opposing team is favored. As short underdogs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4, the Chiefs cruised to a 41-31 victory.

Buffalo has played like the AFC's best team, tied atop the conference standings and leading the league with a plus-91 point differential. The Bills did come up short when they last faced the Chiefs, losing 42-36 in the divisional round of the playoffs. While Josh Allen has the most passing yards, Mahomes ranks first with 15 passing touchdowns. Mahomes' two interceptions are tied for the fewest among quarterbacks who have started every game.

New England Patriots (+134) at Cleveland Browns

This game is essentially a toss-up, even though the odds suggest that Cleveland should pick up the victory. The Browns are 1-2 at home, and both of their victories have come against one-win teams. A couple of weeks after New England nearly upset the Green Bay Packers on the road, the Patriots might be able to win on the road against the Browns.

New England just shut out the Detroit Lions, which had scored more points than any team in the league. In three of the last four games, the Browns' attempt at a late comeback was thwarted by a Jacoby Brissett interception. Bill Belichick's defense could force the Browns to try to beat the Patriots through the air. Cleveland has given up at least 23 points in four of its five games, only holding the struggling Pittsburgh Steelers below that mark.
