Nicki Minaj is the spokeswoman for MAC's 2013 Viva Glam campaign and wears her new lipstick, a lavender shade called Viva Glam Nicki 2, in a new promo.

The lipstick goes on sale Feb. 9 for $15, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting the MAC AIDS Fund. The fund has raised $270 million toward HIV/AIDS-related initiatives since 1994, and this year’s Viva Glam campaign is expected to bring in $37 million, according to the Daily Mail.

The money goes to many programs around the world, including the South African charities Noah and Mothers2Mothers, Food Chain in Britain and God's Love We Deliver in New York.

Minaj has been heavily involved with HIV/AIDS awareness, having co-endorsed the Viva Glam campaign with singer Ricky Martin, among other community service.

“She regularly speaks publicly about HIV, and her uncle died of AIDS in Trinidad,” MAC AIDS Fund Global Executive Director, Nancy Mahon told The Daily Mail.

“People aren't going to listen to their mother about this kind of stuff, but they will listen to a rock star... she helps to destigmatize AIDS.”

Nicki took to Twitter yesterday, clearly excited about the new promo.

“Ready for my new VIVA GLAM lipstick? I'm going solo as MAC's VIVA GLAM girl beginning February 2013!!! #LavenderIsTheNewPink,” she tweeted.

The lipstick will be the rapper’s second collaboration with MAC. She introduced her Pink Friday lip shade in 2010. Having sold for as low as $14, it's now going on eBay for as much as $88, according to the Mail.

Former Viva Glam spokespersons include Lady Gaga, Elton John, Cyndi Lauper, Naomi Campbell, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera and Fergie.
