Nicki Minaj may want to stick to rapping, after sharing her advice on how to last in a romantic relationship. The 30-year-old opened up to Marie Claire magazine, and is also on the cover of the latest issue, making her the first rapper to be on the magazine's cover. She believes that when in love, women should treat their men like they would a dog.

"Don't chase any man. Put your school first," she said. "Men love independent women. You don't have to be a b--ch, but there's nothing wrong with it at times. They want to be nourished and pet like a dog."

While Minaj claims to be single, it is rumored that she is dating her longtime friend and hypeman, Safaree Samuels. In addition to her advice about men, the rapper also admitted that she wants kids in the future.

"I was praying every day, 'You know what, Lord? I want to be a mom one day, and I want to start becoming the woman who I want to parent my child.'... I didn't want to become a person who wasn't enjoying the moment."

In addition to speaking about relationships and children, she also discussed her career as an artist, and revealed that she may soon focus solely on acting.

"I at least want to do three more albums. If I can do that, I'll feel complete," she explained. "One day, when I start getting a couple gray hairs, maybe it will all be only acting. I just never know. I've kind of become the poster child for doing the things that no one expects."

Minaj recently wrapped up her first acting role in the comedy, “The Other Woman,” which also stars Cameron Diaz.
