Unlikely Heroes Friday hosted its 4th annual Recognizing Heroes Charity Benefit presented bySumits Yoga Colleyville and sponsored by iHeart Media and KIIS-FM, Los Angeles.

Host Nikki Reed arrived hand in hand with husband Ian Somerhalder and wore a gorgeous Tadashi Shoji Resort 2017 black floral chiffon and lace crochet off-the-shoulder dress and carrying an Emm Kuo "Bernandins" minaudière clutch with mother-of-pearl and backlip cracking.

Once inside, guests were treated to light bites and cocktails before the opening of the ceremony. Co-hosts Anjelah Johnson and Savannah Chrisley kicked off the night with a fun rendition of “finish that tune” where guests were selected randomly to finish the lyrics of songs and exclusive prizes were given to those who got it right. The two co-hosts then introduced former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman, Kenyon Coleman and wife Katie Coleman.

"You don't have to be blood to be family, love creates family," said Katie Coleman as she described the bond that she has established with the girls.

The generous couple wrapped up their speech by saying, “Every child matters and every child deserves freedom,” before introducing the founder of the charity, Erica Greve, who took the stage amid a standing ovation. Greve thanked the crowd for its support. In a single evening, Unlikely Heroes raised more than $500,000 to aid victims of child sex slavery. Ending the night with a bang, multiplatinum recording artist Jordin Sparks performed a medley of her hits “One Step at a Time” and “No Air” and thanked guests for their love and support for the foundation.

The exclusive event drew more than 400 celebrities, influencers, philanthropists, affluent business leaders and prominent members of the Dallas-Fort Worth community to help end slavery and celebrate freedom. Famous faces included singer Madeline Edwards, comedian Anjelah Johnson, actress Francia Raisa, reality stars Savannah Chrisley, Katie Hamilton and Jake Pavelkaand Leeanne Locken, WWE Host Cathy Kelley, former NFL stars Shaun Alexander and Jason Hatcher, and supermodel Hope Dworaczyk Smith.
