Chinese military officials from the Academy of Military Science, Beijing, said the country will take stronger measures to defend the country from a US-backed web war, a report in Economic Times said.

The announcement came after the allegations from Google that private Gmail account of more than a hundred people including US government officials were compromised by Chinese hackers.

The officials refused to speak about Google’s claims but said China will need to establish a firm “Internet border” and protect the country’s sovereignty from any such kinds of allegations.
