Things are going to get a little chilly in the episode of “Once Upon a Time” shown Sunday. As Season 4 of the ABC drama continues, viewers will finally learn more about the icy new villain during Episode 7, “The Snow Queen.”

According to the episode synopsis, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will finally get her hands on Ingrid (Elizabeth Mitchell), the Snow Queen. The Storybrooke sheriff will interrogate the Snow Queen at the local station. However, the villain will manage to one-up her when she uses “prior knowledge of Emma to try and persuade her into thinking that they are more alike than she could possibly imagine.”

For those who watched Episode 6, “Family Business,” this will come as a shock. It was revealed that Ingrid was looking to make Emma, the Savior, her “third sister” with Elsa (Georgina Haig) -- but Emma was definitely not interested. With this new knowledge of Emma factored in, however, could the Savior change her mind about the Snow Queen?

Elsewhere in Storybrooke, Regina’s (Lana Parrilla) and Robin Hood’s (Sean Maguire) relationship will grow “increasingly complex.” Why? Because Regina is desperately trying to save Marian (Christie Laing) from an icy death, and Robin Hood does not have it in his heart to give his wife true love’s kiss to save her.

But that’s not the only complicated feelings hovering in town. The synopsis teases that Emma will begin to “see what she missed out on by not growing up and being a family with Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) when she sees how involved Mary Margaret is in Baby Neal’s life.” Perhaps the Snow Queen’s offer is looking a little more appealing to the Savior.

Finally, “Once Upon a Time” viewers will get an update on Regina’s quest to find the author of the storybook when Henry (Jared Gilmore) begins his after-school job at Gold’s (Robert Carlyle) store. But the highlight of Episode 7 will be a flashback to Arendelle of the past when fans learn more about the origin of the Snow Queen and her “familial connection to Elsa and Anna.”

“Once Upon a Time” Season 4 Episode 7 will be shown on ABC Sunday at 8 p.m. EST. What do you think will happen in “The Snow Queen”? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
