One person was killed and seven others were injured in a shooting incident in the city of Tampa, Florida early Saturday. The shooting occurred at Club Rayne, a strip club on the city’s north side, according to media reports.

“The injured people are at various hospitals and the detectives are working the scene right now,” a police spokeswoman told BNO News.

Police officer William Copulos told the Associated Press that a disagreement in the club may have triggered the shooting. However, he did not provide specifics of what the disagreement was about.

No other details were immediately available and the identities of the victims or the shooter have not yet been revealed.

A video posted on social media, purportedly shot by a guest at the strip club, shows dozens of people inside the club dancing under dim lights before gun shots and screams are heard. The video ends abruptly.

Police also said that the area of the street where the club was located would be closed to traffic until 7:30 a.m. local time.
