State-run oil explorer Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) said on Friday a leakage had been detected in a pipeline at its off-shore operations about 80 kilometres off Mumbai coast.

A company statement said emergency response had been activated and a loss of 25,000 barrels in production was estimated.
