Stella Carlin is leaving prison to join an a capella group.

Australian actress Ruby Rose, best known for her performance as Piper’s lover Stella Carlin in Netflix series “Orange Is The New Black,” is in talks to join the cast of “Pitch Perfect 3,” according to Variety. She is currently negotiating a deal in which she stars in the upcoming comedy movie that showcases the misadventures of a singing group known as the Barden Bellas.

Elizabeth Banks, who directed the second “Pitch Perfect” movie, hinted at the 30-year-old model’s potential involvement in the franchise when she posted a photo with her on Instagram. Banks, who also starred in both “Pitch Perfect” and “Pitch Perfect 2” as anchor Gail, called Rose a “talented spirit.”

Banks has handed over the reins of “Pitch Perfect 3” to Trish Sie although she remains on board as a producer.

Details of Rose’s character are kept under wraps. Even plot details are unknown at this point of time.

What is known is that Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp will reprise their roles as Beca, Fat Amy, Chloe and Aubrey respectively.

Rose will be seen in a slew of movies next year. She will first appear in “XXX: Return Of Xander Cage” in theatres on Jan. 20 . Then, the following week, Rose will be seen in “Resident Evil: Final Chapter.” Later, the former MTV VJ will be seen in “John Wick 2” with Keanu Reeves.

“Pitch Perfect” did exceedingly well in the box office, paving the way for a sequel. It was then decided, after the second movie premiered, that a third one should be made.

“Pitch Perfect 3” releases in theatres on Dec. 22, 2017.
