Orphan Black Felix and Sarah

The women of “Orphan Black” don’t exactly have the best love lives. Aside from Alison (Tatiana Maslany), most of the Leda clones have been through some serious heartbreak, but that might be changing. Sarah (Maslany) could have a relationship in “Orphan Black” Season 4.

“She deserves a little [romance],” executive producer Graeme Manson teased to TV Line. “That’s not a terrible idea.”

Sarah really had some heartbreaking experiences with the men in her life during “Orphan Black” Season 3. First she had to turn down a happy life with Cal (Michiel Huisman). He bought a house and was ready to settle down with her and Kira (Skyler Wexler). However, Sarah had to send them both to Iceland to make sure Castor and Dyad stayed away. Then Paul (Dylan Bruce) saved Sarah from Castor and declared his love for her before sacrificing himself. While Paul definitely can’t come back from being blown up, it was hinted that Cal’s departure wasn’t so permanent.

“Cal’s not gone, he’s just on Iceland,” Manson warned.

After the Season 3 finale, the producers weren’t quite sure what would happen with Cal and Kira. When asked if Sarah’s brief visit with them in the finale would bring them home for good, Manson revealed that the writers hadn’t decided. “I don't know,” Manson told the Hollywood Reporter last month. “Truthfully, we haven't got there yet.”

They have made a firm decision about another clone’s love interest, but they’re keeping it a secret. Cosima’s (Maslany) ex-girlfriend Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) was shot in the finale and seemed to be a goner. Yet the writers won’t reveal if she is actually dead.

“It’s ‘Orphan Black’ dead. I think that’s what we’re calling it these days,” Manson told audiences at the Nerdist Special Report. That could mean she is gone forever, like Beth (Maslany), or it might mean that, like Helena (Maslany), she’ll make a miraculous recovery.
