Some new cast members will join ther Starz network's TV series “Outlander” for Season 2. The new arrivals include Dominique Pinon, Rosie Day, Romann Berrux, Andrew Gower and Natalie Spence. They will meet series stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, as the story continues in France.

The producers of “Outlander” posted this message on their official Twitter account, announcing that Pinon will play Master Raymond in Season 2. The French actor is known for being a cast member of the 2001 movie “Amelie” and will be seen next in the TV movie “Cassandre.”

Master Raymond is described as a “mysterious character” who runs an apothecary. Claire, played by Balfe, is said to come in contact with this character in “Outlander” Season 2 and the character is said to be familiar with the “occult” and “political matters.”

Day confirmed her casting news in this tweet. She said she was very happy to be “reunited” with Heughan, who plays the lead role of Jamie in the series. According to a report by Jolie Lash of Access Hollywood, the actress will play Mary Hawkins. Day is known for her role in “The Seasoning House” and will be seen in the 2015 movie “Howl.”

Gower will play Bonnie Prince Charlie. The actor is known for his role in the 2014 movie “Rosewater.” Spence is said to have been cast in a “minor role” of a “second wife.” The name of her character has still not been revealed.

Co-executive producer Maril Davis announced in this tweet that Berrux will play Fergus. The character is said to be a “French child” whom Jamie meets in Paris.

Season 2 is currently in production in Scotland, with Balfe, Heughan and Duncan Lacroix as Murtagh Fraser filming their scenes. The next part of the story will be based on the book “Dragonfly in Amber,” by Diana Gabaldon.
