Tommy Shelby
Tommy’s (Cillian Murphy) problems will only grow in Series 3, episode 4 of “Peaky Blinders.” BBC Two

There is never a dull moment in the Shelby family. Tommy spiraled out of control in episode 3 of “Peaky Blinders” after the death of Grace, and episode 4 will only throw more problems at the gangster.

The upcoming installment in Series 3 of the BBC Two series will find Tommy (Cillian Murphy) dealing with Princess Tatiana (Gaite Jansen) as the two attempt to get information out of each other. Tatiana thinks she has the upper hand on the leader of the Peaky Blinders gang and makes that known in a sneak peek video from episode 4.

In the clip, Tatiana is waiting for Tommy in his office. She’s a confident woman, but Tommy’s not intimidated by her. The princess wants to know what proof he has of Father John Hughes (Paddy Considine) being a traitor.

“It’s my word,” he warns her. “If he’s involved I’m out.”

Tommy talks of death and violence, which doesn’t frighten Tatiana. Instead, she tells him, “When there are no rules, women take charge.”

Tatiana may be right. The synopsis for episode 4 adds that the princess won’t be the only issue he has to deal with. Polly (Helen McCrory) will reveal a “dark secret” that will have “terrible consequences for Tommy.”

What could that “dark secret” possibly be? When it comes to the Shelby family, anything is possible.

“Peaky Blinders” Series 3, episode 4 airs on BBC Two in the U.K. on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
