The People's Choice Awards kicked off the 2015 awards season in Hollywood Wednesday night with its 41st annual show on CBS. While various TV and film stars walked away winners, the attendees gained as much attention for their red carpet looks.
Here are our top picks for the best and worst dressed stars from the 2015 People's Choice Awards red carpet:
From her perfectly coiffed hair, to her electric blue Zuhair Murad jumpsuit, actress Portia de Rossi’s 2015 People’s Choice Awards red carpet look was perfection. Her date, wife and Favorite Daytime TV Host winner, Ellen DeGeneres’ white suit wasn’t too shabby-looking either.
Actress Gina Rodriguez not only grabbed a win for Favorite New TV Comedy at the 2015 People’s Choice Awards, she also won the red carpet for her flowy, floor-length gown. Her sleek and straight hairdo completed the look, making her one of our best dressed stars.
Kristen Bell didn’t win for Favorite Cable TV Actress Wednesday night, but she looked stunning in her hot pink frock. Her appearance, alongside husband and fellow nominee Dax Shepherd, was her first public outing since welcoming daughter, Delta, Dec. 19.
“Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland looked gorgeous in her silver Christian Siriano gown. The ABC sitcom actress also made another fashion statement with her hair color. After years of rocking brunette locks, Hyland sported a blonder hue on the red carpet Wednesday night.
“Awkward” star Nikki DeLoach blew us away with her red carpet look. The actress’ black floor-length gown, curled locks and perfectly applied makeup earned her a spot on our best dressed list.
People’s Choice Awards’ Favorite Actress in a New TV Series winner, Viola Davis, captured our attention with her hot pink number. The “How to Get Away with Murder” star’s dress fit so well, it looked as if it was made just for her!
“Mom” actress Anna Faris killed it on stage hosting the 2015 People’s Choice Awards, but her white red carpet gown definitely bombed. The TV star’s dress looked more like a mermaid costume than red carpet-worthy attire.
“Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting may have won for Favorite Comedic TV Actress at the 2015 ceremony, but her red carpet look definitely isn't a winner. Her white and black jumpsuit looked casual as opposed to glam.
Actress Ariel Winter’s pantless suit look isn’t winning any accolades from us. For a 16-year- old, the “Modern Family” star’s red carpet attire was borderline inappropriate.
Ellen Pompeo’s red carpet jumpsuit was perfection. That is, until you check out the bottom half of her outfit. The “Grey’s Anatomy” star’s pants were noticeably too long for her 5-foot-7 figure. Better luck next time, Ellen!
Who is styling Pete Wentz? Someone needs to tell the Fall Out Boy musician that bowties and leather jackets do not mix!
