Peter Fonda has made some vague threats against US President Barack Obama.

While attending the Cannes Film festival in France, the 71-year-old actor and star of classic cult movie “Easy Rider” suggested to reporters that he is training his grandchildren to use firearms in a potential showdown with Obama.

According to The Daily Telegraph newspaper, Fonda said: “I’m training my grandchildren to use long-range rifles. For what purpose? Well, I’m not going to say the words 'Barack Obama’, but …”

Then he cryptically added: “It’s more of a thought process than an actuality, but we are heading for a major conflict between the haves and the have-nots. I came here many years ago with a biker movie and we stopped a war. Now, it’s about starting the world.
I prefer to not to use the words, 'let’s stop something’. I prefer to say, 'let’s start something, let’s start the world’. “

Furthermore, the son of acting idol Henry Fonda, noted: “There’s no room any more for a sissy and, like I said, don’t forget that I’ve got grandsons who I’ve trained with long-distance rifles. We have to run like mofos to change this world.”
This is not the first time Fonda has savaged Obama,

A few days ago he called the President a “traitor” for the way he managed the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Fonda, a self-avowed environmentalist who co-produced the documentary “The Big Fix” which is about the BP disaster, told reporters: I sent an email to President Obama saying, 'You are a f------ traitor,' using those words... 'You're a traitor, you allowed foreign boots on our soil telling our military - in this case the coast guard - what they can and could not do, and telling us, the citizens of the United States, what we could or could not do',

“The Big Fix” is being screened at Cannes.
