The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 10 trailer finally premiered earlier this week and to no surprise, Phaedra Parks was noticeably absent after having a scandalous Season 9 that got her shunned by her cast mates. However, despite rumors that she will return to the Bravo series even though she isn't featured in the trailer, fans shouldn’t expect to see Phaedra on the reality show anytime soon.

On Wednesday, sources told Us Weekly that the rumors going around that Phaedra is asking to come back for Season 10 are “not true.”

“Phaedra has been talking to some of the women of ‘RHOA’ again but has not filmed any scenes so far,” another insider revealed.

“They are still filming so anything could happen and there is room for a cameo but she has not returned and obviously still isn’t part of the cast,” the source added.

In May, an insider revealed that Bravo has no plans on asking the star to come back to the series. Andy Cohen also told E! News that he didn’t see a future for Phaedra on the Bravo series. “The question that we look at now with Phaedra is, when the reunion ended, none of the other women wanted to have anything to do with her. So that’s what you have to look at,” he explained.

“How do you shoot a show about a group of friends when no one is speaking to one of the friends?” he said.

During the RHOA” reunion episode in May, the women argued about Phaedra’s accusation that Kandi was attempting to drug Porsha so she could take her home. Porsha insisted that she learned about this from Phaedra, who heard it from Kandi, however, when it was time for Phaedra to confirm the truth, the star began to backtrack on her statement and instead stated that she didn’t hear it from Kandi.

Phaedra revealed that she actually heard it from someone else, which shocked Porsha, who believed her friend’s initial allegations and concern for her safety around Kandi.

Kandi eventually broke down in tears over the truth coming to light. “You should understand that drugging somebody while they’re drinking and taking them home is rape,” Kandi yelled across the stage at Phaedra and Porsha.

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have repeated it. I’m sorry. It was bad judgment on my part,” Phaedra said, apologizing to Porsha.

Despite her apology, Cohen, who hosted the reunion, didn’t believe Phaedra was sincere about all of the problems she caused. “What more can I do? I apologized already and the person I’m most concerned about is Porsha,” she told him.

“I’m sorry that it hurt Kandi as well,” she added.

Not long after the reunion, Phaedra’s co-star, Sheree Whitfield, hinted that her cast mate may not be back for Season 10, and admitted that she didn’t necessarily believe her apology.

“I don’t know, it’s so hard right now. It’s hard to establish trust with someone like that because, for me, it seemed that she showed no remorse for what she did and for her actions,” she told Us Weekly.

“I think it will be hard for any of the women to forgive.”

Phaedra was quickly fired from the series once the truth came out, and although there is a chance she can still make a cameo appearance, becoming a full-time cast member is not an option at the moment.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 10 premiere On Sunday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
